New Chairperson for Furntech

John Mortimer is the new Chairperson of the Furntech Board of Trustees. Mortimer was elected during the Annual General Meeting of the Furntech Board of Trustees held in Cape Town on 31 May 2005. Prof Ernst van Biljon, is the Vice Chairperson of the Board. Prof van Biljon stepped down after serving four terms as the Chairperson of the Board.

During the AGM, Advocate Sibongile Sigodi was elected a member of the Furntech Executive Committee. She joins Robin Clark who has been on the Exco since Furntech's inception. Nandipa Bam, Glen Tarr and Ian Bruton have also been members of the Board since Furntech was established in 2000.
