    On the 27th of March 2014, Furntech will be launching its Furniture Manufacturing Testing Centre in Paarden Eiland,Cape Town.

  • Furntech Clients at Homemakers Expo 2014 Johannesburg
    4 of Furntech Johannesburg's Clients ( Lokuhle Trading, V & H Bono, AF Doors and The GGDA Project) will be exhibiting at the Homemakers Expo at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg from the 27th of February to the 1st of March 2014.

  • Furntech / Sonae NovoBord Graduation Ceremony 05 February 2014
    Furntech, in conjunction with Sonae NovoBord,  will be hosting a Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday 05 February 2014 at Furntech White River. The graduation is for learners that have completed a Skills Programme funded by Sonae NovoBord.

  • Furntech Johannesburg Current and Graduated Clients at Decorex 2013!
    Catch Current and Graduated Clients from Furntech Johannesburg at Decorex 2013 from the 7th to 11th of August 2013.  Top Designs and The Headboard Lady will be at the GGDA Stand and Houtlander Furniture at the SEDA Stand. Graduated Clients participating include Qotho Sizwe, Casa Nyumba, Kaspan Trading and Duet Interiors!

    The two components which form Furntech’s integrated service are:

    • Business Technology Incubation of small and micro enterprises (SME’s)

    • Vocational Skills Development

    These services are available at all Furntech Centres which are spread around the country. Through these centres, Furntech is well positioned to fulfil its national mandate of improving skills levels in the industry, raising the level of global competitiveness, stimulating job and SME creation and transferring new technologies to industry partners.

    Furntech’s facilities offer a combination of training, business and technical support in the form of:

    • Business technology incubator space for entrepreneurs

    • Technical expertise for furniture production

    • Shared-use facilities with modern equipment

    • Accredited training programmes presented by qualified and experienced facilitators.
