Furntech is South Africa’s only Centre of Excellence for the furniture industry and is the first port of call for anyone looking for information on business incubation and /or skills development in furniture manufacturing. Our dedication to quality service delivery and our growing national footprint has resulted in the Forest Industries Education and Training Authority (FIETA) recognizing Furntech as the Institute of Sectoral and Occupational Excellence for the industry. Two components form Furntech’s integrated services: · Business technology incubation of micro, small and medium sized enterprises · Skills development These services are available at all Furntech Centres. There are six established regional centres strategically positioned in: · Western Cape: Cape Town and George · Gauteng: Johannesburg · KwaZulu Natal: Durban and Umzimkhulu · Mpumalanga: White River A seventh centre has been launched in Mthatha, in the Eastern Cape on the 18 April 2009. This centre has extended our national foot print in South Africa to five provinces. Through these centres, Furntech is well positioned to fulfill its national mandate of improving skills levels in the industry, raising the level of global competitiveness, stimulating job and SME creation and transferring new technologies to industry partners. Furntech's facilities offer a combination of training and technical support in the form of: - business technology incubator space for entrepreneurs

- accredited training programmes presented by qualified and experienced facilitators
